Several problems with DVR3100H tv card (1 Viewer)

Hi. I just bought Leadtek DVR3100H tv card. The tv server found all available multiplexes and channels. MP can play MPEG-2 coded channels well (although when using cyberlink decoder, the screen flashes - ok, this is known issue).

But not everything works perfectly:
1) although the DVB-T channel is in 16:9 format, the MP always displays 4:3, e.g. 720x576 (I checked it with graphedit remote connected to MP) data stream from TV-server. It quite often happens, that the TV sender changes the format from 16:9 to 4:3 and back for example for commertials. However the stream comming from TV-server stucks with the same format 4:3. I haven't found any possibility to change this behaviour.
2) in full screen, the screen is not filled entirely with the TV signal, but there are black stripes. the thickness of this stripes is not always the same. It looks like I would receive analog TV - e.g. no sharp edge.
3) sometimes the MP freezes when watching TV (switching channels), the keyboard does not react, I have to reset my PC using
4) When I try to watch MPEG-4 channel, I get error "Unable to start graph"

Any idea?

Additionally I have two more questions:
1) Does any DVB-T card support HDTV in MPEG-4? Or it depends on BDA drivers?
2) the DVR3100H card supports HW encoding into MPEG-2 for analog, but the audio is connected to sound card by wire. Does TV server support such configuration?

I clarified some of the "problems"
1) the auto switching from 16:9 to 4:3 and back works. However in ffdshow video decoder I still see 720x576 resolution???
2) i think, this is due to the TV signal is broadcasted a little bit larger than it will be displayed on TV.
3) I do not receive the multiplex with MPEG-4 stream, so maybe the "unable to start timeshifting/graph" is caused due to this

There are however still open question to me:
1) how to crop the TV signal to fill the entire screen. I tried "crop-zoom" function in ffdshow filter, but in this case the video does not switch from 16:9 to 4:3 and back anymore. Any idea how to "crop" the video?
2) after standby, the TV does not work. I have to restart TV server. I tried to add some delay (3s) but it does not seem to work.

Updated info:
- enabling PowerScheduler plugin in TV server with "reinitialize service on wakeup" and 10s delay for initializing the tuner solved my problem with returning form standby.

Still to solve:
- how to crop (e.g. remove overscan) the video signal to remove "normally" invisible part of the TV screen?
- does MPEG-4 work?

Major_Mess: The analog part works flawlesly without any need for adaptation. However, I receive one analog channel which is disrupted a little bit so No idea about the quality. Anyway, yesterday I used the TV card to watch video signal from camera, which worked like a charm.

What a little bit disturbes me on this card is, that it gets a little bit hot in my HTPC, I suppose because of the MPEG-2 encoder.
