TV-Server Version:
MediaPortal Version: 1.0
MediaPortal Skin: b2w
Windows Version: XP SR2
CPU Type: Athlon X2
HDD: 3xseagate
1. TV Card: TErratec 2400i
1. TV Card Type: PCI 1x
Im currently trying to install MP 1.0 after removing .23 - Off course i tried the 1st svn first... Problems arose: severe blocking when using TV (this is old problem with MP, so im used to it) and more importantly: when trying to ff in xvid film clip MP freezes/crashes... Video codecs used are xvid113+ac3filter - no ffdshow... and iMON VFD display doesnt work any more...
Hmm - i think:svn buggy, remove MP+tvserver+sqlserver and install 1.0 (not svn) without TV support, since this is an option... after removing all and restarting XP i try to install MP 1.0 and it goes very fast, i get confirmation of successfull install - but nothing is installed, the installation dir is empty...
So: is 1.0 buggy (despite option to do so, install without TV support is not possible) or did i break my system installing/removing mp...
Help??
Will now try to install .23 and wait for new RC..
devs - i love this program, thx for the good work..
*EDIT* Using trick described elsewhere (select one-click install) i got MP 1.0 installed - problem w. crash persists...... Going for .23 now...
