I have just spent a bit of time either creating or downloading asx files for my favourite UK based radio stations from their websites. In some cases this has been just downloading the asx files from the website for others I have had to go through html/javacript files to locate the stream sources from the radio stations and manually create an asx file.

I have put these asx files into a folder and have configured My Radio to use the folder. This works beautifully. :)

I was wondering if there would be any problems or objections from the team with me sharing these files with the community?

Possible problems:

1. The stations themselves may object to users bypassing their web advertising.

2. In some cases stations restrict their hi quality streams to registered users, which I have also bypassed in some cases.

3.
From Saturday April 1st, new rules came into effect that now mean many UK-based radio stations which stream programming on the internet, have had to restrict their service to within the UK only.

This is because of music licensing arrangements.

I'm not sure if this is done via their player popups or on their streaming servers.

Comment and suggestions please.
