Hey everyone,

I want to start first with I am the largest noob in the world when it comes to this. I put MP on my laptop so I can have music and everything else in easy access. I do not have Windows Media Center and was told this was a nice alternative to it for Vista. I do plan in the future when I learn to use this well install it on a HTPC that I am going to build. I have never worked with this kind of program so I am teaching myself as I go along.

I am going to secondly say, how much I like this program so far it is more intuitive then my wife's WMC on her laptop. I am now organizing and building mine.
I installed a Shoutbox Plug in that is great and have figured out where all the files go and have it runnning. I only have one problem the only way I can stop the music is to turn the program off. This one here in the link Shoutcast it is a nice program, but like I said I can not figure out how to hit pause, stop or play once it starts it just keeps on going.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.:D in advance.

The ultimate HTPC noob.
Rene

Yeah I just installed radiotime and went ahead and signed up on their site. I preset all of the local radio stations here and when I went to MP and launched Radiotime it showed the stations, but said they were "not supported." Do you know how to fix this issue or is this one of those flaws? I don't mind having to listen to other stations (kind of like it anyway, alot of great stations in the world), but it would be nice to listen to local stations.

Sniped: for me some stations are not playing, too. maybe it's a codec issue, maybe it's a problem of the radiotime-plugin.
if they play in your browser it is most probably a problem of radiotime-plugin.

if you just want to listen to a few of your local stations, why dont't you use the inbuild web stream card in tv-server? here you can easily enter your favorite streams.
