In this case try the attached Blue3Wide BasicHome.xml (I just changed the ID as suggested by solis66 ). Tested here and works as expected.
Just copy/overwrite in Blue3Wide and then clear the skin cache.
catavolt,
Thank you for your help, but that's what I did before and it didn't work. I tried it again anyway. I overwrote my BasicHome.xml with your file (which was pretty much the same as mine) in the Blue3Wide skin direcotry and clear the skin cache, located at:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache
(Windows XP SP3)
Re-launched MP (noted the skin cache re-created), select TV, and still the default TV page and popup "no tuner card installed"...
kocchi,
if you were french i think webepgfr could help you. It is standalone tv guide in home menu MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - WebEPGfr
Maybe you can make it work. I can't.
catavolt,
I reinstalled MP 1.0.2 with TV-Server (MySQL) and got the TV Guide all set up again. The nice thing is that the "no tuner card installed" error message doesn't pop up anymore when I go to the TV Home. Next, I went to modify Blue3Wide's BasicHome.xml's TV Hyperlink to 600, clear the skin cache, and load MP up again it still doesn't go directly to the TV Guide from the Home screen when I click on TV...
I've also tried using the xface skin, and modifying BasicHome.xml on that skin and it still doesn't do it.
I wonder why others can get it to work. Other plugins that I'm using are MyStreams and the Messenger Plugin. I don't think those conflict in any way.
Edalex,
Unfortunately, I'm not a French user. But thanks for trying.
