HI,

First i want to say thank you MephilimDM for your amazing work.
The great news for me in the last version is that i dont have the cpu usage overload anymore! A really good point.
Now i have 2 feature requests.
- The first things that bugs me is that MTSA seems to be using the translated title(i live in france) to find movie details(so my details are in french), fanart and covertart. What i would like is an option to get imdb details, TMDB coverart and fanart. In france, i suppose you get details on allocine. The great thing about allocine is that it also have the original title that MTSA could use to get imdb details and TMDB datas. What do you think?
- My second feature request is related. I would like to have an option to get apple trailers, even in france, and if there s none get the one from allocine. That way i could have most of the trailers in english. Once again what do you think?

Thanks again

The original title is already used for fanart on TMDB and IMDB...

Why do you prefer the Apple trailers? If it is for the quality, i could download the trailers apple instead of the other if the quality is set to >= "High", what do you think?

Bye,
Nephilim

Strange cause some fanart werent found in this plugin but they were in MovingPictures. Either way i am really happy to hear that! Could you do the same for covers or use impAwards? Here mine arent really good right now.

First even if i am french i prefer original trailers. I said apple cause that was the first one that came to my mind. And that s right i prefer high quality trailers. So my point is that it s not about quality but i think everyone should have the possiblity to have trailers in original versions instead of their language. And if the original trailer isnt available, go for the one on the "local" website.
What do you think?

Now i think about another point which is not related to features but to data handling. Right now i suppose that if i download a trailer from your plugin, myTrailers wont see it. My point is that it would be great if you could share datas, that could save a lot of disk space in case of HD trailers. You could even imagine that you look at a trailer from myTrailers and then you ask yourself, can i see it here in my town, and the magic make it goes right to your plugin... I know this might not be easy to do but sharing data would really really be a great addition!
Continuing on that, there is the fanart and coverart data handling. I also think you should find a way to share it with plugins like myTrailers or MovingPictures. Right now they dont use the same naming convention as you but i am sure you could find a way to make it work on both sides(MovingPictures for example store a private id in the filename).
That s just suggestions.

Thanks for everything

Martin

Can you post your location.xml so i can try myself? impAwards and TMDB are already used with original titles but only if translated poster are not available (same as trailers, read next answer)

I could add a flag like "Prefer original Posters and Trailers". What do you think?

I don't understand i thought that myTrailers not store trailers, i'm wrong?
About the sharing of "Backdrops" data with MovingPictures, i think it is useless because my plugin (most times) deals with new movies, while MovingPictures deals with "old" DVD, DVD-RIP, Blue-Ray ecc. So the possibility of sharing data between the two plugins seems unlikely.

Perfect for me!

Sorry but i must disagree. I have a lot of movies in common. It happens a lot here in france. Either way it s question of data storage.

Well, I played a lot with the last release for France.

First I was not able to solve the screen presentation for Blue3 4:3, everything is mixed! (for example, in icone view, the space to display the posters is a square one, but posters are rectangular so that only a small part of them can be seen:!)

Second, I noticed that the "genre" is not taken from Allocine and only appears if you select, in the main option, "download additional information from Imdb" so that the genre is then given in english. Is there a way to have this info from allocine?

Third, when I am in the icone view and I want to display the menu, on the left side, I click on the left arrow key of the keyboard , this is correct. But if I want to come back and hide the menu, I must click again on the same left arrow key: normally, for all other menus (music, video..) you do that with left arrow key (to see the menu) and right arrow key (to hide it). Don't know if this is related to the problem I have with bue3 for this plugin.

To finish, thanks again to Nephilim for his great job!

I did not this skin, so I can not be of much help... BTW, try the on in attach or try the one (for Project Mayhem 3) from this post: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...v2-2009-01-17-b-49668/index13.html#post362031

Ops... I've forgotten the genre... I'll add it in the next release.

It's a skin issue...

Some news: Myshowtimes displays now correctly with the GUI.xml of project Mayhem, and only with this one, and the list view must be selected. After that, clicking on one of the movie of this list shows the poster and all other information just fine.
This GUI doesn't use the hidden menu (as Blue3 does) and its background is black.
But it seems to be the only way to use Myshowtimes with Blue3 4:3

If somebody has another information or solution, thanks to share it!!
