jlapin: ShowTimes suite is made of two (well 3) parts..

* mtsa.exe which grabs the data from the cinemas
* showtimes.dll in process plugins which initiates and coordinates the grabbing from mp (also that is the configuration part)
* showtimes.dll in window plugins which is responsible for showing the data in the mediaportal

Perhaps it's more clear now.. Nephilim didnt do any work on mtsa.exe yet, and that's the part you are having problems with. Be a bit more patient, i'm sure Nephilim will figure everything out

Awesome man. Skin author needs to update the showtimesXML with yours!!

I have been using Showtimes hapily now for a couple of months without probs.
Yesterday I ran into problems though , got a crash dialog. I'll investigate further and post some logs.

I also like to request the Netherlands for the new revamped version, that is if you find the time to implement it. Would really appreciate it, this plugin's just awesome!

for all your hard work and keeping up with people like me that are complaining all the time

Figured things out, I had the same happen a while back and I am not sure why this is still not fixed, not to point fingers or anything, just find it a bit unexpected.
The streamedMP skin is causing issues. This is the skin file that comes with the latest RC of streamedMP. I am not sure what is wrong with the skinfile, I have just put a backup of one that works (and also looks better) back (see the attachment). So all is fine for me again as it seems.
I know I have had this issue before, like months back. I guess the streamedMP devs do not really use or support this plugin.

Okay.... so how do I get media player 11 to play mov files? WMP says the extension is not recognized, but the player may still be able to play it. I click okay, it says acquiring codec, codec acquired, and then nothing. I press play and it thinks for a second, and then goes back to doing nothing. i downloaded and installed ffdshow and QT Lite but no love there either. I can now play .mov files inside Chrome, but still can't in WMP 11 or in the showtimes plugin.

What I mean by nice image, is on the main mediaportal menu, on the left hand side there's an image for each selection. Little dude with a netflix logo for netflix, dude with an umbrella for weather, dude with a film reel for video, etc. For Showtimes, it's blank. There is no image.

As far as the .mov file playback, try the K-lite codec pack. I'm pretty sure it includes a .mov codec for WMP.

After you install it you just have to configure the video codecs (ffdshow video decoder) and make sure you select a codec for the MOV file type.

I just scanned through this recent entries in this thread and didn't see my question, so I'll go ahead and ask....

It seems as time goes by over the last couple of months, MTSA is finding less and less movie trailers to go with the movies list it is populating. The latest MTSA version I can seem to find is in this thread at the top, and that's the one I'm using. Is there a more recent MTSA?
