shutdown with hip (1 Viewer)

hi i use a remote that came with my dtv card (twinhan) this remote just sends keystrokes to the keyboard so i am now using h.i.p and everthing is working ok after a bit of work ,execpt the power button. is there a keyboard command that will give me the shutdown menue in mp?
any help would be great so i dont have to get up and turn the computer off

I also have HIP and use it for my MCE Remote, there was a predefined template on the HIP Site for this I believe.

I have a different problem, my HTPC goes into standby when I press the Power button on MCE Remote, but I want instead it to hibernate?

Hi there, petzlux via the XP control panel, enter the power options setup and under the advanced tab change the setting "when i press the standby or shutdown button on my pc . . . " to hibernate. This should fix your problem. Cheers m
