Area: Media Portal Program: myTV MP Version: 0.2 RC (no daily updates) Skin: MCE Windows Version: WinXP SP2 (all Updates) + .NET 1.1&2.0 + Mozilla ActiveControl CPU Type: AMD64 3000+ Memory: 1024MB Motherboard Chipset: VIA K8T800Pro, VIA VT8237 Video Card: ATI Radeon 9550 Video Card Driver: ATI CATALYST 5.11 Video Render Type: VMR9 renderless Video Codec Type & Version: various Audio Codec Type & Version: various TV Card: Twinhan DVB-S PCI TV Card Type: DVB-S TV Card Driver: various (1.2.1.9, 1.2.2.0, 1.2.2.7, 1.2.2.9) Hi, same problems here. myTV of MP 1.3 works great with all the drivers that failed with with the 2.0 RC2. I made a few recordings and found out, that the problem seemed related to the GOP structure in the recorded file. That may also be the issue while watching tv. ProjectX (a tool i use to demux and fix AV-Sync problems due to bad recordings) threw a massive ammount of GOP errors while working the recording. Normally there are 2-3 errors at the start of the file, but after the installation i got, depending on the filesize, up to 200 errors per file (about every few minutes). For my log-file is created in german i try to translate the output here. Maybe it helps to find the cure for this problem (the only one that prevents me to use 2.0 RC2). In the log-file there are statements like: -> Pictures expected/count 12/11, inGOP PTS Diff. 0ms, new timeindex 00:00:59.480 !> PTS difference of 43200 (00:00:00.480) to last exproted GOP found !> dropping useless B-Frames at GOP# 127 / new timeindex 00:00:59.480 !> dropping GOP# 128 at orig. PTS 00:01:02.121 (5590898) -> Pictures expected/count 12/10, inGOP PTS Diff. 0ms, new timeindex 00:00:59.880 !> PTS difference of 43200 (00:00:00.480) to last exported GOP found !> dropping useless B-Frames at GOP# 129 / new timeindex 00:00:59.880 !> dropping GOP# 296 at orig. PTS 00:02:22.761 (12848498) -> Pictures expected/count 12/16, inGOP PTS Diff. 480ms, new timeindex 00:02:19.960 !> PTS Differenz of 86400 (00:00:00.960) to last exported GOP found !> dropping useless B-Frames at GOP# 297 / new timeindex 00:02:19.960 !> dropping GOP# 872 at orig. PTS 00:06:59.721 (37774898) -> Pictures expected/count 15/15, inGOP PTS Diff. 600ms, new timeindex 00:06:55.880 !> PTS Differenz of 86400 (00:00:00.960) to last exported GOP found !> dropping useless B-Frames at GOP# 873 / new timeindex 00:06:55.880 !> dropping GOP# 1007 at orig. PTS 00:08:05.001 (43650098) I do not think this is a driver issue, because all drivers that messed up my recordings in MP 2.0 RC2 worked well in 1.3.
