Well, my request sounds quite simple.

When I'm searching for reception with my mobile DVB-T antenna, I have the problem that I don't really know if the reception is getting better or worse.

If there where any stripes or bars or anything, which would show me if I moved the antenna into the right direction(respectively if the signal got stronger or weaker), it would make it a lot easier to get a good reception.

Is it technically possible to implement this in Mediaportal?

I hope you know what I mean..

Possible Solution:

If you press ! (ie Shift + 1) while watching TV it gives you frame rates and droped frames. I think it also gives signal strength. Press it again to get rid of it. I'm at work so I can't verify if it shows signal strength but I hope this helps.

Good Luck

The framerates and the other stuff are showed when pressing "!", thats right, but I haven't seen somthing like "signal strength". Furthermore the shown informations make no difference between a plugged in antenna with (obviously) good reception and a disconnected antenna with no reception. The framerates, dropped frames etc. stay the same.
