I'm running a PIII 1Ghz Coppermine on my HTPC, and I have replaced the stock heatsink fan with all copper heatsink. That said, the CPU heats up to around 60C, and I wouldn't mind knockind that down a bit. Does anyone know of a good socket 370 near silent active solution?

I have a fan les Thermaltake CL-P0071 Sonic Tower on a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ with no fan at all and thats what I call cool and quiet :) The only fan I have is a big 12cm one that runs on 900rpm to keep the air flowing in the box. The problem with this Cooler is that it is wery BIG so make sure you check if you have enought room.

Good luck

I have a spire falconrock II cooler and updated the fan with a pabst 12 dB fan. Cools very well and is sillent. Remeber to use a very thin layer of good quality thermal grease and not the stock thermal sticker.
