Simple remote control via browser or gui (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Is there an easy way to do some basic operations from another room (e.g. select music, play, pause, change volume). Note that I do NOT need streaming to another device - just plain remote control, e.g. via a browser on my phone?

Most posts are about a full-blown client - but that's NOT what I need (no streaming needed). I just want to change volume and music from another room...

Well, this is indeed more or less what I'd like, and I knew about this solution, but the thing is that this only works via BlueTooth, not via browser
