Simple way to record video on PC and port to Android? (1 Viewer)

I've just got an Android tablet (3.0/Honeycomb) and I would like a simple way to record video on my PC and copy the recording over to my tablet without having to convert the video file. Right now, I only have Windows Media Center (Windows 7) which only records in "wtv" format which Android can't play. Can Media Portal record video from a TV Tuner in a format that is also readable on an Android tablet? Thanks

Vplayer can play ts files. Record, copy and watch it. Or stream it directly with aMPdroid from the tvserver.
