Looking to build my first HTPC and wanted to use it to replace my TiVo. I was just hoping some one could confirm whether MP is able to continue timeshifting on the tuner I am not currently watching.
With TiVo in Australia watching Freeview, I am able to switch between the 2 tuners and rewind up to 30 minutes on both. Also, if I press record it will record whatever part of the show is in that 30 minutes.
Can this be achieved in MP and if so, would I need to have 2 separate tuner cards or will 1 dual tuner card do the job?
Ultimately, I would love to do this with a quad tuner card where all 4 tuners are always keeping up to 30 minutes for timeshifting.
