    Hi

    I did a complete reinstall of my system and installed all the newest versions, updates etc.
    When I choose for TV the screen is ok.

    But when I switch the tv on, I sometimes get the screen without colours. Just the text, but the colours are black...

    Everything is working and if I switch the tv off again, the screen remains with without colours. When I re-enter the tv screen, everything is fine again.

    Some clues:
    When I connect to the HTPC via VNC and turn on the tv, it freezes. On the HTPC itself it runs just fine except for the black skin.
    Has it something to do with the refresh rate or codecs (I use the LAV codecs)?
    I am trying almost everything, but nothing helps.
    I use AMPED, but it also shows up in the standard skin.

    Hope someone has a suggestion for me :)

    Thanks!
    Bas

    update:

    This all happens only with full screen. I tried it today without full screen and then it is all ok. Also via VNC viewer.
    Dynamic refresh rate is off in MPconfig.

    Strange....

    Anybody an idea?

    Update II

    Meanwhile I found out in the logs that the resolution is changed:

    ===
    02-02-2012 22:58:31.929 [150c]DeMultiplexer: 30 video format changed: res=1280x720 aspectRatio=16:9 fps=50 isInterlaced=0
    ===

    This might be the cause of all the troubles?
    But how do I prevent this to happen?

    You are using an unsupported OS (SBS2008) and VMR9.

    MP doesn't work properly with VMR9 on Vista & Win7, so I guess it might have problems with SBS 2008 as well....

    Switch to using EVR, or change to a supported OS (XP/Vista/Win7).
