skin need help (1 Viewer)

hi all
i am new to this forum please help me how to load new skin, i follwed instruction download new skin/extract under teammp skin but stuck from here don't know how to load in skin folder, i see my folder under skin directory. i am using vista ultimate x64, skin that i try to load purevision hd 2.2.
please help, thanks in advance

Hi there and welcome

If your skin is located in the correct folder structure, it will show up in the following place for selection:
MP Configuration
Expand General
Select skin

It is also possible to select skin from within the MediaPortal GUI via the Settings menu.

If you cannot see your skin there, then it is not in the right place. Please attach screenshot of your folder structure (MyComputer/Explorer).

sorry, i am not computer whiz but how do i copy screen shot that you refer to

Open your Explorer/MyComputer at the right location
Hold ALT in whille you press prt sc (print screen) - that will copy that window to the clipboard
Open PAINT
Paste
save as JPG
attach here.

I should just be easier for us to try and find out where you went wrong.

what would you topy screen shot? is that temmp folder ?

I was thinking that a screenshot like this would more or less tell me what you did wrong:



Showing the directory with your new skin files
Showing the full path in the address bar
Showing your full FOLDER structure on the left

OK, looks like your Aeon Alpha sub-folder should be the one you copied to the skin folder and not the whole aeon alpha 0.1.1

edit - not sure if that one is compatible with latest MP?
