Skin simple to use with mouse? (1 Viewer)

Do you have any tips for a good skin to use with a mouse? Need a simple to use skin for the entire family. I use MP 1.1.2.

I like blue3wide, but I can´t get the TVGuide to work well with a mouse.
- Can´t get any scrollbars anywhere (did select "show special mouse controls"). No scrollbars in this skin?
- Tried solving it by assigning the mouse scroll/tilt wheel to arrow keys, but doesn´t work well since the item under the mouse pointer takes back the focus all the time.
All tips welcome.

Someone removed the scrollbars from the B3W skin. Don't know why, really.

I can't find any scrollbars in PurevisionHD.

Tried Maya, it works well with scrollbars in the TV Guide, but the OSD is very difficult to control with the mouse.

Surely, there must be SOME way to control the main features of MP with the mouse?

Can I ask why not just get a remote? It would be alot easier for the family with a remote since the mouse likes to make all the hidden menus pop up when you move around.

I think it is more intuitive and easy to learn how to control MP with the mouse.
We will also have several computers running MP, and I don't have remote for all of them.

Does your mouse have a scroll wheel? Then you don´t need any scroll bars

You got me thinking once more.
Always had problems with the focus "going back" all the time when using the scroll wheel, when the mouse pointer move ever so slightly.
But if I LIFT the mouse it works perfectly. Simple and obvious if you think about it

By programming the tilt function of the wheel to work as keyboard buttons "left and rigth arrow", I can now also control the TV-guide sideways.

The Purevision skin is very nice.

I have one problem with the top bar. When I start TV fullscreen, I can't get the top bar to show. If I though open and close the miniEPG, the top bar works normally. Any ideas?

In PVHD skins I deactivated the topbar in TV full screen to allow the inbuilt (not well known) feature to skip a certain amount of time forward/backward when using scroll wheel up/down or remote up/down. This does not work when topbar activated.
But if you don´t want that feature, just open the file mytvFullScreen.xml and set the property <disabletopbar>true</disabletopbar> to <disabletopbar>false</disabletopbar>.
