skinning beginners questions (1 Viewer)

started playing around with blue3 to learn something about skinning mp... attached some screens what it looks like so far (1) and what it should look like (2), mostly clean with focus on the covers of the awesome coverflow...

i have a few questions already:

- i never really noticed before, the date is translated, but it would be nice to get this sorted to some kind of "Donnerstag, 4. November". is this possible and where could i change this?

- i spent a lot of time to get the title and artist shown below the centered cover in coverflow. possible is #selecteditem which shows the filename i guess (?) but i'd like to have it seperated in 2 rows, titel/artist without the leading number... #Play.Current.Title/... fits well but only if some media is already playing. so is there a way to show artist and title already while scrolling through the files?

- based on the last problem, is there any summary/list of possible tags or variables (not only for musicsection) available to have a look at to know what may be possible?

- are there tags of the current selected category (for example my movies or my music) which can be shown as simple text instead of the headerimages?

- how do i get the menu sliding in on the left and to slide out again when i move the focus back to the mainwindow? now it disappears instantly, i'd like to have it slide out softly as it came in^^ also spent a lot of time on this but didn't come any further...

The date format is changed in MPConfig > Plugins > Home and there you can change the date format.
What is displayed below the coverflow depends on the labels set in <label1> and <label2>.
A search in Wiki would reveal a lot of things!
Sliding in: atm the animation is set to hidden. just set it to visible.

embarassing with the date. i should have known^^

i searched the wiki already but there a so many threads where i find sth like this "Describe ?MediaPortal1_Development/SkinArchitecture/coverflow here. " these threads have to be written... what i found were the tags for the current played media (music and tv), but that's all...

tried this already and set it to visible but then the whole menu didn't show up - it's there but invisible... i'll investigate a bit more...
