skins are slow (1 Viewer)

have media portal working fine, now have hd card which plays everything in hd perfectly no stutter etc, however any of the hd skins I use run very slow, scrolling etc seems to pause between clicks, anyone know why.

Windows Version: 7
CPU Type: quad intel 6600
HDD: 1.7tb
Memory: 3gb
Motherboard: intel
Video Card: nvidia HD
Video Card Driver: nvidia
Sound Card: intel

I have the same problem since switching to Windows 7, scoll on the menus hangs for a second every 20-40 seconds or so. Have searched the forums for an answer without success - it's not very wife friendly.

Any pointers to posts would be appreciated
