Sorry if this is a double-post, but is there a process to creating your own skins? I'd assume there is since there are a lot being created, but is it a particular program or programs i need to create my own? I'm interested in helping with development of skins. Thanks!

u can use this tool.
http://www.mediaportal-skins.net/html/tools.html

but i myself prefer to use a text editor and edit the XML file myself it gives u much more freedom.

there is one major note when starting to edit skins u HAVE to delete the packedgfx...xml and packedgfx...gif files if you wish to see changes in MP. this has to be done each time you make a change to any of your graphics and reload MP.

but if your editing on one computer and viewing MP on another there is a plugin that give u the option just to press 'r' and it will refesh the skin.

i rember readinf a post saying it was updated for MPRC3 so you make have to do a seach to see if ou can find the lastest version.

Thanks for the suggestions, and quick responses compared to the average of replys i see on the rest of the board. I am going to study the XML files, and get a feel for it. I have worked with Photoshop for 6 years and have designed everything from web sites to skins for other programs. I will see if i can become a freelance developer of skins for you guys. Thanks!
