Hi, they need to go in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin. Bear in mind programdata might be a hidden folder so you will have to set your folder option to show hidden fles, folders and drives.

    the correct path for the skins files is

    C:\Program files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin

    The easiest way, if you are having difficulty, is to use a skin that has its own installer (ie streamed mp)

    This is definitely wrong as we are talking about MP 1.1.0. The paths for the skin files have been changed as follows:

    Windows XP -> C:\Documents and Settings\AllUsers\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin
    Vista -> C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin
    Windows 7 -> C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin

    And I'll pitch in with a question about skins in 1.1.0...

    I'm running MP on Windows 7 RC, and I've installed both StreamedMP and X-Factor. They install into the ProgramData folders, as you'd expect. However, when opening the editors for both these skins (within Config for X-Factor, and via Basic Home Editor for StreamedMP), the content of the editors is missing. Within both you'd expect to see current plugins and windows, and the various options, but it seems as though the editors aren't looking in the new Skin area.

    I don't know whether I've done something wrong, or whether this is a bug I should be submitting with logs etc, but has anyone got any clue as to why the editors are no longer working?

    Please ask your questions in the respective forums of StreamedMP and X-Factor. Obviously the editors have a fixed (hardcoded) path.
