Skipping back 5 mins during a film (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Need some advice. was watching a HD .mkv Movie last night and about every 20 mins it would pause and skip back 5 or so minutes. thought it could have been the encode so thought nothing of it but tonight my wife and her friend are watching a film which is also a .mkv and this is also doing the same. I am using RC2 release and the the combined community codec.

I used to have similar problems with both live/recorded tv and videos. Someone in these forums helpfully suggested it may have been my wireless keyboard/mouse interfering sending occasional signals to the remote receiver - now I keep my keyboard/mouse unplugged and haven't had the problem since. Maybe give this a go if you've got wireless keyboard/mouse on your system, or use a wired keyboard/mouse.
