Anyone got ITV HD working with this patch and latest svn??

No, This version for some reason removes (or loses) ITVHD. I've had to go back to the previous one to get it to appear on the epg again but I went to watch something on it last night and found that I only had sound and no picture

nah i dont think it is anything to do with this epg grabber bud. itv hd vanished for me when rc3 came along - before i even touched this little gem!

i did get it working last night however with latest svn and using this modified file for epg grabber.

what i did was to use the ffdshow codec for AUDIO and my usual cyberlink pdvd8 for h.264.

i then had to (as someone on forum mentioned) tune into ITV3+1 and THEN tune into ITV HD and it works. any other channel before ITV HD, or ITV HD on its own doesnt.

I know why it isn't working,

the developers have turned on dynamic pin handling with direct show and ever since it has stopped working.

Would it help if I sent you that patched file so you could see if there is anything different? If I go back to just this file its perfect but as soon as I use your file for the epg (which IS something need) it stops working..

What version of Media Portal are you using? RC2, RC3?

There lies your answer, this is a modified version of the RC3 TS Writer.

And I don't know what has been changed between your TS Writer and the one I have modded so I can't sort it I'm affraid.

surely tho RC2 is more buggy than RC3? Each RC being less buggy than the previous and closer to release status?

There lies your answer, this is a modified version of the RC3 TS Writer.

And I don't know what has been changed between your TS Writer and the one I have modded so I can't sort it I'm affraid.

Ah, didn't realise you were doing this on RC3. Sounds like I'm gonna have to back up my system and then install rc3 and see how I get on (and I have RC2 just how I like it with TVSeries etc).

DJBlu, it looks like dman_lfc has incorporated a fix for ITV HD that will be available from this upcoming Friday's svn, assuming everything works correctly, would you be able to release a modified TSwriter/reader based on this svn with your EPG patch?
