    Thanks

When you go to the TV Page and use the search function you can now search the Sky EPG via the categories/themes.

    I.E. movies/comedy in UK

This will work with Sky Italia too. :D

I've got brit shorts and background audio ticked. My freesat epg works using my winnova s2. This is great. What I want to do now is populate my sky channels epg data. Sky channels are provided by analogue capture on my PVR 350. can i do this? Anyone know how?

    Bill.

This only captures for channels that are stored as DVB-S

    Yes you can,

And as it happens I also have a program that will take a ts file and create a file

You need to use a program such as ProgDVB. Tune to Transponder 11778V and then use the PID recorder and either record pids 17,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,64,65,66,67,68,69,70,72 or record the whole transponder.

Record about 20 seconds worth. Then use the following file to convert it to a XMLTV file.

    OpenEPGtoXMLTV

Place it in your TV Server Directory with the other 4 files. Sky_UK.dict etc ...

    Thats the link

Wow thanks for the info, I'm going to work my way through that now.:D

Sorry for being thick, but can I automate my epg this way or do I have to shut down tv server and run prog dvb for 20 secs every time I need to update my epg?

    Hi DJBlue,

I did a channel scan this morning and found a new music channel, Brit Hits, had appeared so I have set it up to be on my EPG and it has no data. I have done an EPG regrab and still not data is showing. I have looked at my parents Sky box and there is EPG data being shown so what would the problem be please as I would like to get data working on this.

    Thanks in advance.
