Hi djblu,

I just rebuilt my htpc with MP1.0 release. I exported my tv server settings prior to rebuild and imported them after (in order to preserve channel and guide order, which I spent ages on) using the backupsettings plugin.

after the upgrade, MP1.0 is working with the standard tvserver.ax (tv channels all working after import). although it seems less stable for me than 1.0RC4, so I may be going back shortly

when as I insert your modified tvserver.ax, I get "unknown error, unable to start timeshifting" as soon as I try to start viewing TV. This is after a reboot of the PC of course.

so it seems something changed for 1.0? unless I have an out of date version of your tvserver.ax (creation date 19/10/08)?

That is the change log, and the TSWriter.ax has not been updated for 6 weeks. I suggest there is a problem elsewhere.

The latest TSWriter that I have modified is this

When they change the TSWriter I will update it and post it here.

P.S. I was getting all sorts of errors, and it was something as simple as the Audio codec. I switched to MPA and everything is running smoothly.

Hi DJBlu, I cant get this to work, heres what i've done and attached logs, hope you can help.
New install of MP1.0 All tv channels etc imported from backup settings plugin and working. Stopped tvservice in services console, copied last files you uploaded in tv server directory, restarted tvservice. In tv server config I have ticked epg background etc as per your instructions but when i refresh dvb epg within manual control it just sits idle in the status - no change, any help would be extremely appreciated

How many Cards do you have in your system?

Is EPG grabbing enabled on the card which the "EPG Audio Background" is mapped to?

The settings in TV Server -- > "Card Name" properties.

Hi, thanks, yes when i enabled the cam I missed enabling epg grabbing there many thanks. EPG now fully populated many many thanks

Hi guys and girls,

Ok, I haven't given you an updated TSWriter since November however this doesn't mean I haven't been working on it as I have.

I have been able to integrate the Categories into it now, however there are still a few missing.

You may also know that the version of the TSWriter isn't perfect.

Such programs like "Football First on Sky Sports" are showing as "T2T...."

this will be solved hopefully in the next version as I know how Open TV shares this information.

They send out the info for 8-9 channels on one record.

Basically like this,

I think that explains it more.

The adult channels have the same problem for channels that are duplicated.

So hopefully in the New Year we will have a perfect TSWriter.

Great work DJBlu, it's nice to see a full EPG within media portal. Do you know if the Freesat/SKY EPG stream includes genre information

Excellent work DJBlu... quick question though, do I pick both BritShorts and EPG Background audio to get a full EPG inc ITV HD? I have only been running it with EPG Background Audio until now so I tried checking both and I lost the sky EPG and just got the freesat one... just wondered if I should be using both or if it is limited to one (it could be I didnt give it enough time, not that patient me - lol)
