I have a stupid question, can you get a receiver/software to let Mediaportal to accept input from my Sky+ remote?

Now I ask this cos these remotes are well set out and really nice to hold/use!

I'm not sure its going to be possible but any info would be nice!!

Possibly, if you can find some software that lets you map IR commands from a generic remote to a function on the PC. I dont know of any such software but try searching on google.

You could try irserversuite found on this forum, or try eventghost or hip to see if they register inputs from sky remote when you have a receiver.

Or see if you can pick up a bargain from ebay, which should just work when you tick the mce box under config\remote section.

Does work!

Easy to set up, use a Microsoft IR Receiver + install IRSS and manually map buttons!
