Sleep button on a remote (1 Viewer)

I can't believe that I can't figure it by myself because this is really so basic...

How can I put my HTPC to sleep in MP via remote using USB-UIRT? Why is it that sleep command isn't on the list of available commands to select for remote mapping? For me it is as important as ie. play button.

SHUTDOWN command brings up new menu with 4 available options and needs addtional keypresses. How can I set sleep option directly, so I don't get any menus?

I see that command ACTION_SUSPEND is available internally but how can I add it to USB-UIRT commands listing? The list with 50 commands is as much cluttered as one with 200 so why scaling down. I suggest bringing all available internal commands and menus to any remote controller mapping using advanced options tab. Don''t tell me I need to edit XML for USB_UIRT or better use Eventghost for something so basic.

Even advanced options like power scheduling is available via plugins but no simple press button - go to sleep functionality. I must be blind or insane. Please help.

EDIT FOR NEW MENUS

So I'll edit XML for USB-UIRT. Added ID of ACTION_SUSPEND to SHUTDOWN command and you wouldn't beleive - ANOTHER SUBMENU - "Do you want to suspend YES-NO". No, I'll go bang my hand against the wall.

Hi Versus!

By default the remote power button is not an MP option ... the power button works normally within the system (i use XP).
I use 3 different remotes in my multiseat setup. Each of them turns the PC directly into standby, by pressing the power button, without the need to change anything in MP.

So plz take a closer look into your Windows or remote setup ...

Which remote do you use, Which System, Hardware ?
Your system specs are empty (you'll find them under "user CP")
You'll get faster and better help, if you advice more information about your setup and system.

Of course I know ways other than MP to activate sleep with a remote (Harmony 555). But, why installing some additional software when you can have everything within MP. It is perfectly achievable now, but somehow developers make everything possible to get in a way.

1. SHUTDOWN command is ready to be programmed into a remote but it calls for a submenu (OK, make a submenu command available directly, why not?)
2. ACTION_SUSPEND can be called upon, but it brings another confirmation submenu (even MS don't ask you to confirm sleep command, its more annoying than useful)
3. Topbar buttons IDs (which control shutdown) are not available, while all the other menu and submenu commands are (does anyone know ID of those commands per chance?)

I know MP is free and I should be bitching at all, but having so basic feature left out is like having a sports car that you power down by choking the engine instead of using the ignition key. Kinda wierd if you ask me.
