Slow folder browsing and subtitles (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys.

First i wont to thank all your hardworking guys for this great software. I had diff. versions installed over the last year and been very very pleased with them all.

I just installed the 02.3.0 RC2 but found it very slow when i moving around in my picture, video and music folders compaired to the last version, can that be right or am i doing somthing wrong.
I been updateting the diff. data bases but no improvement. When i move around on the desktop with MP closed it is very fast.

I also have a problem with subtitles on my DVB card. Has anybody managed to get it to work without the TV server (i dont have tv server installed)

My system is folowing:

AMD dual core 3800. 1000 ram. 300 g onboard HD and 300 g on synologi server. Floppy DTD with TDS selector card.

I have attaced the log file from the new test tool.

Yeah I noticed this too. And it takes a very long time to open the video's section from the home screen (suppose this is related).

if your videos, music and pictures is located on an other PC in the lan and you access it via a networkshare, then you should install the latest svn build of mediaportal.
there was an issue.

if MyPictures is slow, then you should lower the thumbnail-quality settings in MediaPortal Configuration -> General

I've got the latest SVN, and I don't really use MyPictures. The standard location for my video's is my local harddrive.

You have to delete the FolderDatabase3.db file

Hi all.

Mine is also okay now, i had to do a fresh install. Now i just have to see i i can get the TV3E up running
