Slow Network Performance when MediaPortal is Running (1 Viewer)

When MediaPortal is running and I try to copy something to that PC, the network throughput is ungodly slow. Once I close MediaPortal, the speed jumps up to what it should be. Anyone else experience this problem?


System is an Asus A8N-VM CSM w/onboard Gigabit running MCE2005

I also have this problem with an Asus A8V deluxe over the wireless transfer.

I thought it was my wireless.

thoughts?
