Hi,
I am running SmartRC (http://cjcr-soft.com/software/smartrc/) to read the remote and interface that came with by DVBSky S960 usb card. SmartRC supports applications that can use the Lirc protocol.
SmartRC is reporting that it receive commands from the remote and they appear to be correctly mapped. However, I've no idea how Mediaportal can be controlled from this. I know it has winlirc support, but the plugin configuration page does not seem to have many options that would be useful for me, and available documentation is sparse.
Is there a default port that I need to use to get Mediaportal to take commands via lirc from other lirc applications? If someone can give me pointers and I get somewhere I will be happy to write the documentation for the process.
