Ongoing snow white DVD drive ? (1 Viewer)

Hello there,

I am quite new in here, so bear with me please.

I am finally building that HTPC, and to stay in line with the rest of the living room, I chose a Silverstone SG02 white case. This will be a low-middle-end machine, not some beginning-of-death HD-DVD/BR machine.

I am not too sure about the DVD drive that would fit best in there. The front bezel has to be snow white (not "Samsung light-grey-call-me-white"). Also a slot-loading unit would be a plus, although it has its minuses.

Any recommendations ? What if I was to "stealth" the tray ? What DVD drive would be recommended then ?

Requirements are :
- silent operation
- DVD+R(W) and DVD-R(W) playback

Not absolutely required but appreciated:
- DVD+/-R burning

White paint springs to mind, especially the model making stuff (Humbrol here).

Thanks for your input. I also had several answers in the newsgroups pointing me to the paint shelf.

Someone suggested VHT Vinyl dye, and I think I'll try that first.
