Just uninstall the old MP in add/remove. How I back up, is to copy the Mediaportal folder to my documents, and then uninstall MP, and delete the MP folder under c/program files (which is rqd to remove all old settings and databases, which are not compatible). Then install 0.2 with the 0.2.0.3 up, prior to configuring. To restore an original working copy, just reinstall that version and copy your backup mediaportal folder over the top of the other one (remember if svn installed to run start.bat to reregister the files). and all your old settings will be restored. edit Already answered, Doh. 8)
