I just recently installed IR Server 1.0.4.1. I have not added any of the updates. I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 with an ehome receiver/MCE remote.
I removed the entries in the registry for CodeSetNum0-3 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HidIr\Remotes\745a17a0-74d3-11d0-b6fe-00a0c90f57da
The problem is that Translator doesn't take any action when I press the keys on the remote. Translator is able to pick up the keys when I click "New" and it waits to receive a key press.
Also, I can see that the keys are being received by the server using the Debug Client. If I press the power button on the remote I see 'Remote Event "31731"' in the Debug Client, but Translator takes no action no matter what I tell it to do (exec program, send keys, move mouse, etc). I have not had any success trying to run Translator as Administrator, either.
Is there any way to fix this? Is it a known issue?
