I think what MarcusB wants is the ability to see the threads he has posted in that have had new posts in them, whil retaining the ability to subscribe to individual threads and get emails if they are replied to. At the moment I think you sort of have to choose one or the other, either subscribe to all threads you post in automatically and turn off email notification, or be able to subscribe to important threads and get emails about them.

It's not really as important as the amount of typing has proved to make it seem.

Basically all I had asked for was a way to see all new replies to my posts WHETHER OR NOT I HAD SUBSCRIBED.

nope this is not possible then.
only subscribed threads can be listed for new replies.
