I have some suggestions and I hope someone could just take a closer look at them.

Summary:

I have read that many people have some issues with the IMDB-update part in MP.
Hope this maybe could be an improvement, I know I would think so.

Description:

Something like this, that you can expand your subdirectories and change the picture e.t.c. directly in the setup-window.

I have thought about one more thing.
In the "Watch Movie" you always see the extension like "Barnyard.DVDrip-Xvid-diamond"
There should be a choice that MP would filter the extensions, that the result would be just "Barnyard".
I know that I just can rename my directories, but i like to have them in the original name.

no way since there is no unique scheme how pirated stuff is named. You could keep the .nfo or whatever but cleaning the filename shouldn't be that hard.

After many various naming schemes I settled on eg:

    Outer Limits.1x09.Living Hell.avi
    Simpsons.01x09.episode9.avi (> 9 seasons series)

to rename stuff I use this freeware app:
    http://www.1-4a.com/rename/

I now use MyFilms for offline movie library on disc's as by using ANT I can easily manipulate the database using it's many very powerfull scripts (grab imdb/tv info for 1,000's of entries automated) + the MyFilms U.I is spot on. I found the DB in MyVideos awkward & buggy to edit using the tool in MP Config (genres went weird, IMDB info grabbing took forever) so I ended up spending a lot of time in SQLite manually editing the db to make it work properly + I didn't really get along with the MyVideos U.I anyway. There's some good aspects but the flow of it just didn't vibe for me.

The thing is that i still want to have the directories..
    Ex:
    x:\film\not seen\swe sub
    x:\film\not seen\no sub
    x:\film\seen\swe sub
    x:\series\

    and so on..

That you cant to in ANT :(

Well yer I still use MyVideos for stuff on my hard drive but as a basic file explorer, I was saying I use MyFilms for offline stuff stored on dvd-r's. I wrote a script to convert from the MyVideos db to ANT xml format (the format used by MyFlims), it wouldn't be too hard to go the other way then you could use ANT as a front end to populate the MyVideo's db (MyDVD's may already do that but I think I tried it and it was buggy).

ANT DOES allow you to grab imdb or tv.com info for 1,000's of records without human intervention. I couldn't get my head around MyFilms+Ant at first, even after testing it out, but months later I tried again and the penny dropped . Video maintainence is now Sooooo powerful and easy to use via ANT it's untrue and it's all for free as the plugin dude just needed to use the ANT xml file as his datasource! so no need to code his own front end editor!
