I have some small ideas:

  • My TV = we must turn off TV manually to play some recorded TV in recorder TV sub menu , if not both sound are playing -> maybe it will be automatic lunching a recorded TV stop watching TV
  • My weather = maybe could we select in the main view each day to have more description of this day
  • my news = it is possible to follow links in the news description?
  • My Radio = it is possible when we choosing a directory for streaming radio to display logo of the stream station (like we got it when we configure each stream in the station setup) of course the logo must have the same name of the station and be place in the thum dir

That all for the moment!

See you soon !

  • I agree with this, it is annoying. Shouldn't be too hard to fix though...

Nice idea as well, don't know if the information is available however...

This will probably be possible once the My-Internet plugin is completed, as it has better integration with the MP environment. See http://nolanparty.com/mediaportal.s...iewtopic.php?t=1850&highlight=internet+plugin

Hi, must be really a while, cuz I can not remember any post from you ;) But might be also that I joined the team too late. Yes, there will be many things. Main reason is simply, that MP2 is not developed based on MP1. I for example never used MP1. I tried it lately to test voice control and was shocked about many inconsistancies in...

I found the resolution: I had set this registry value set to 0: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WBEM\CIMOM] "EnableEvents"="0" As soon as I set it back to the default value 1, TV server did no longer say port 554 is bound and TV was working. On MediaPortal 1.4.0 and earlier the reg value could be set to 0 without any problem...

I completely uninstalled MP1 and installed MP2. Audio is now good. I'm relieved, and I suppose a little glad to have been forced to make the switch, because I'm already liking MP2 more. But still, the original problem remains a frustrating mystery.

So after a long search and a lot of experiments I did find out the culprit: I did disable events of the Common Information Model Object Manager. As soon as they are disabled TV server will always show "port 554 is already bound". Enabling/disabling events is done by this reg key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WBEM\CIMOM]...
