Have a look at the screenshot in the 3rd post of this thread. The video seems to be in 2:35:1 ratio but reported by VirtualDub to be 1920 x 1080 pixels in size. The blue block that I pasted the screen shot onto is 1920 x 1080 in size.

I just tried opening the file in MPC-HC, and it seems that (at least in MPC-HC) the video file has black borders on top and bottom. When I opened it in VirtualDub, that seems to crop the black bars automatically.
