I know for a fact some of the new ati drivers are in conflict with media portal.  I have an 9600xt agp on an old amd 1300 xp machine.  I loaded an older driver and the issue went away.  I would also adv to install the latest xvid,divix drivers on the net.  also installing vlc media player will help also.</p></blockquote><p></p>
