I'm looking for some sort of IR receiver that can be connected directly to my PC (and not via a TV card or anything) which will allow me to use any remote control (such as the AllInOne series) to control my PC & MP...
Is this hard to achieve?
How will MediaPortal work with one of these?
What IR receiver is most recommended?
How do you go about programming the remote & IR receiver to carry out a certain function (i.e. switch between video & mytv screens within MP)?
Will I have the power over MP that I do with the Hauppauge remotes for example?
