Sometimes when I skip forward or backward playing a bluray movie, the sound (Dolby TrueHD bitstreamed over HDMI) stutters and the raster offset goes like a saw tooth (see attached picture). Workaround is to skip again and then usually sound is ok and the raster offset is going normal. I don't have the problem with playing HDTV and DD5.1.

Any idea what is happening and how to solve this?

    Hi,

I think i had similar problem...
When playing Bluray movies, the sound stuttering all the time...

I bought Cyberlink Powerdvd 10, because it supported hd sound and such... But... as you tell... exactly the same results...

Yesterday i "upgraded" my 32 bit Win7 to 64 bit Win7, and i tried to see if i could find a solution for this problem... I had in mind that Cyberlink had caused some problems before.. So i didnt install that... Tried to watch movies in MP RC2, no stuttering... No problems, everything was good... (even tuning of my tv channels where quicker and nicer)

Then i installed Cyberlink Powerdvd 10... And the stuttering began imediately... Tried to uninstall, but no luck... Only solution where to install a clean backup.
Now everything is ok, no problem at all.

the only codecs and such thats installed on my system is:
    ffdshow 1.1.3437
    haali mediasplitter (latest release)
    Microsoft DTV-DVD
    MPC - MPEG2 decoder

So now im using Microsoft DTV-DVD for video and ffdshow for audio.
