Hi there,

I've been using Meedio since the beginning and am starting the process of switching over. However, I'm stuck on one feature I can't seem to find.

I've ripped all my DVD's to disk and have a DVD Profiler database that feeds the import process. Then all that information is loaded into Meedio and browsable. Once a movie is selected, it launches with ZoomPlayer.

I've tried the automatic process that comes with MediaPortal and the matching seems to be about 50%. Ouch. I tried the MyDVD plugin reading the DVD Profiler database, but that seems to be built for offline storage. I can't seem to watch a movie from it.

Can I do what I did in Meedio?

Thanks

In the most recent version of the My DVDs plugin you can define a directory path to the root of your DVD collection on disk (i.e., setup the plugin from within MP configuration -> My DVDs -> Options -> plugin). Then your DVD folders need to be named the same as your titles within the Profiler database (as imported to My DVDs) and placed below that root directory. Now when you select a DVD w/in MP and hit the 'play' button it will play that title from disk (make sure to be using MP's built-in player, not have 'external player' selected in your configuration. Works great for me.

Ahhh, thanks for that. I didn't notice that.

Unfortunately my movies span multiple drives. Is that plugin a 'core' plugin? Or did someone else develop it?

(Just wondering who I need to nag to allow for multiple paths :) )
