Sound muted on sleep but not unmuted on resume (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have an odd issue. When pressing the power button on my remote the sound muted and the system sleeps but not unmuted on resume. I can't figure away around this issue?

Anyone had this issue before?

I have managed to resolve this issue by using nircmd and instructions listed here:

I've no idea how to fix the issue otherwise.

Fortherecord uses the "away mode" to avoid interrupting recordings when pressing the power button. But some drivers can't handle it (like my ati hdmi audio driver), so it's a driver bug.

I let windows handle standby now, I just press "stop" and after some time (windows power settings) the pc will suspend if it's idle.

Hi,

I've not got Fortherecord installed. I just used the fix that was mentioned.

It is probably a driver bug as I also have an ATI HDMI card.

I've got Windows set to always on as I have MP powerscheduler handling that for wake up events etc.
