Sound problems (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I installed media portal onto my HTCP last night and was well please with the results so far. Went to open it this morning and i now have no sound on any of the mediaportal software. Everything else regarding sound on the rest of the computer is fine. I've tried looking at the help/advice notes but without any luck.
Can any one please help? Also, the HTCP came with its own remote," The Veris RM200" which i prefer to the original MCE remote. Is there any way to configure the software to run with the Veris remote?

Start MP, then alt-enter to get to windowed mode, start playback of any file with audio, then check the sound icon in the systray, you will find mediaportal is low volume or muted

Remote unknown, unless its got learning capabilities.
