Summary: Custom Zoom and Stretch Modes needed for special display and dvb movies

    custom stretch mode
    It is DVB dependend.
Some TV stations sends movies in 4:3 format, but the movie content is inside black bars up and down the movie.
It is not really 16:9 format, it will only less compressed since the picture is smaller.(letterboxmovie)
We need a special stretch function for DVB-T in MediaPortal.
The current stretch function expand only to the 4:3 format, but do not remove the black bars...

    custom stretch mode
I use the Samsung 245B as TV screen and the resolution is 1920x1200 (16:10).
    I heard from a user...
He want 4:3 movies zoom to fullscreen on a 16:9 Display.(think it is 16:12 cuted to 16:9)
I call this OverZoomMode, zoom the 4:3 picture up to fullscreen on 16:9 / 16:10 display.

please post your needed special stretch or zoom functions with a short explanation for the developer.

    1. stretch mode for 4:3 letterboxmovie on 16:9 / 16:10 display
    2. OverZoomMode for 4:3 format on 16:9 / 16:10 display

I think custom zoom modes are easy to implement in Mediaportal.

    thanks in advance
