Hi,

I think I have a problem with my SQL-server.
1. It uses 900MB RAM! Is this normal??
2. Data gets overrided!
example:
It grapps EPG-Data on ZDF. Then I have EPG-Data in this transponder for the next days.
Now I grap EBG-Data on ARD. Now there is EPG-Data for ARD but ZDF gets deleted!!!!

Any idea what that can be???

So 900MB is normal? Generally it is no problem because I have 2Gigs RAM.
But why my EPG-Data gets deleted?

nope, there is a step in the installation documentation where you can specify the maximum memory that SQL can use. I think it's at the end in the optional configuration but it's a good idea to limit memory usage, as you have found out :)

The sql server takes as much as it gets ... (if the settings says unlimited)

EPG-data gets deleted - normal behavior except for the last few svn versions (see the thread with the epg-grabber opts.)

Yes the SQL server does take as much as it gets but it will free it up as the systems needs it. So no need to limit the amount.
