Hi,

I'm new to mediaportal, but I really like this software.
I used to work with XBMC but when I build my htpc with the M-play 202 (vfd display and remote control) I had to use MCE or Mediaportal. And because i really love the wide tv serie banners MCE will not work for me.

I have still some problems with some few things and hoped that somebody could help me. Have tried the search (also google search) but haven't managed to make the things work.

Here are my problems:

- I don't know the keyboard shortcut to toggle between turning off my subtitle (srt files that have the same name as mymovie.avi)

- Many of my movies have 2 files (*-CD1.avi, *-CD2.avi) but I want to have mediaportal to see it as one file (I want to leave them as 2 files, so don't want to use virtualdub or other software). I believe it's called stacked.

- Can I play my movie when I can click on my movie folder (in XBMC I can go into a library mode)

- Fan art will not displayed in my skins like Xface or Monochrome, even when I import my tv series (use the MP-TVSeries 2.1.3331.0). I end up with a black screen with a sort of loading animation (small circle that rotates in the middle of my page.

- If I play a movie and go to the menu (so the movie will show in a small box left bottom, I can only go back with my mouse, but want to know if it can also be with keyboard shortcut so I can program my remote. Hopefully it can also been done when I use the movie playing in the background.

- My dark colors are not a nice quality when connected to my LG LCD.

I really have searched and fiddled with it for 3 days, but without no luck. Hope you can help me with it.

Thanks in advance.

there are keyboard shortcuts for both subtitles and going back to full screen which you could prgram to your remote, not sure of them off by heart but if you go to mp config, general ,keyboard shortcuts they are all there...
not sure about the rest tho sorry... hope that helps a little :)

If I go in my general tab, I only see:
Skin, Thumbnails, Volume settings.

I cannot see the shortcuts :(.

Thx for you quick reply :)

The "L" button does not work for me

I have an Asus M3N78-VM motherboard with onboard VGA. It's the Nvidia Geforce 8200.
My codecs are:
MPEG-2: MPV Decoder Filter
H.264 video decoder: ffdshow Video Decoder
Audio decoder: MPA Decoder Filter
Audio renderer: Default DirectSound Device

I picked it up in the configuration.exe ->videos->video Player

With brighter colors it seems that there are no problems.

The "X" button works perfect, but with the "L" button I don't have any results.
