Hi there, I currently have a PC in my living room (based on a Athlon IIx2 240e) which is acting as both client and server (I have two other clients attached in other rooms). The computer is plugged into a home theatre system via optical. I want to move this PC to another room and so I have two options: 1. Buy a new client (probably something based on E-350) for my living room and use the my current HTPC as a server only (and connect the client to my router via Cat6 ethernet), or 2. Run a long flat HDMI cable from the server to my TV (the server is only going in the room next door, so won't have to be too long), and carry on using it as a server/client combo. I really can't decide on what the best option to do: What would everyone suggest? Are there any pros and cons of using a separate client and server set up over a standalone installation? Thanks very much.
