Hi my htpc will enter standby whilst playing songs. I have not configured any standby options in windows only in mediaportal via the server and client power scheduler plugins. My htpc will not go into standby if mediaportal is not running. If i configure the mp client to standby after 30 mins then start mediaportal client and play an hour long music playlist and put the remote down (I don't interact with mp) after 30 mins it will enter standby. I haven't added any music plugins just enabled the AudioScrobbler.

I have both server and client power scheduler plugin configured to enter standby. I have the "Only allow standby when on home window" option unchecked ( i want it to standby from any window if theres nothing playing ). I am running a single seat setup (tv server and client on same pc). Mediaportal will not enter standby if i'm playing a video (via Movingpictures plugin).

Apologies if i'm missing anything here, any help appreciated.

This still happens in debug mode ( log attached ).

Regards

The logs you have posted doesn't contain all info, do they?

    First entry is

    This is only 7 minutes...

Can you maybe explain what you did, or redo the test, so that we know that you started the test at 17:00 (playing music) and MP entered standby at 17:30 and you woke it up again at 17:02.

Hi, sorry, yes this is whole log, i usually have standby set for 30mins, but for this test to speed things up, i set for 5 mins

I started mp, went to "Music" then went to an album folder, added 2 songs to playlist, put remote down, during the second songs (after 5 mins) the pc went into standby, i moved the mouse toggle on chinese clone remote, woke up pc, presed the green button on remote a couple of times, then went to ext mediaportal.

    Cheers
