Both configured to go into standby after 5 min.
Client also checked to only go into standby when i home screen.

But now i have the oposit problem than so manny persons..

The machine is going into standby unwanted.
Even if i'm listning to music.

Any sugestions on how to avoid mediaportal going into standby anyway?

Logs are incomplete, please use the log gatherer. Maybe Powerscheduler Client plugin is not active, for some reason, which could be read in MP.log or error.log

MediaPortal config, switch to expert mode (top right)

Go to plugins section, scroll down to processes, you should see Powerscheduler client plugin, enable that, set the time same as the TVServer Powerscheduler plugin, and most of us use the homescreen only option.

    Regards

Know the logs are incompleate just added the ones that i thought were nessesary.

Both the TVServer and Client is configured excatly the same..
5 min on both, and also the client has the only on home screen checked..

    But just a thought..
When i tried to watch TV the my TV plugin complaind about not being able to acces the TVServer..
Is the TV config (IP or machinename) also used for checking the shutdown?? And could that explain why it's closing down??

    Hi,

i think server and MP plugin are "talking" together, that if both plugin-settings are fullfilled it will shutdown. and in your case, they dont care about each other...

    Just did a test..
Had to wait the 5 minutes...
But the problem was due to the fact that the machine had a new IP...

The TV Client could not connect to the TV Server..
And maby thats why it did not work..
Changed it to use the machine name..
And hey presto it's working again..
