When I ask mediaportal to do this during start up or waking, it makes the re-start far too slow.So if media portal re-booted into live TV, then it would not alow the PC to sleep, as it is configured to sleep only while on home screen. I use switching to home screen, and stopping all live TV as method of putting PC to sleep when powering off with the remote control.
